Double purge sector
Rotor purging during overpressure on the outgoing air side
If the outgoing air pressure is greater than the outdoor air pressure, then only rotorsystems without purge sector may be employed.
If the co-rotation of about 3 % that occurs then is not desired, then our reliable double purge sector system with additional fans can be employed.
If beyond that a transfer flow of the outgoing air into the outdoor air should be avoided, then a rotorsystem with purge and block air system can be employed. A separation of the air flows can be achieved in this case as well by an overpressure in the ring chamber, the middle seal spar and by rotor purging as with systems with over pressure on the outdoor air side.
